He spent seven years as an Advanced Markets Manager for a top United States insurance company and State Representative for a Division of Estate Planning for Special Kids. Doug is a Vietnam-era veteran, having served honorably from 1972-1976, and he takes special pleasure in helping veterans of foreign wars and disabled vets fight for their benefits. He is an accredited attorney with the US Veterans Administration
Thomas Krause, J. D. Thomas R. Krause, J.D. first began working for Krause Financial Services in 2006 and rejoined the team full-time in 2014. He works across multiple business functions including operations, marketing, and sales. Additionally, he provides expert testimony and fair hearing support to elder law attorneys throughout the country when their clients are faced with a denial. Thomas has a passion for educating clients on Medicaid and VA planning strategies, often hosting our popular KrauseCAST webinar series. Prior to rejoining the company, Thomas worked for civil litigation firms in San Diego, CA.
In February 2018, Thomas was published in the American Bar Association’s “Voice of Experience” section.
Thomas graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 2014, he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. He is a member of the California State Bar.
Scott has dedicated his life to service. As a U.S. Air Force Career veteran, he devoted decades to defending and protecting his country. Following his retirement for active duty, Scott has spent nearly the last decade as the primary pre-need counselor for Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, Inc., in Pueblo, Colorado. Behan is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) and is a Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC). He also serves as Managing Partner at Rocky Mountain Providers, Inc., which consists of a dedicated, compassionate team of professionals specializing in education the public about the many ways to pre-plan and fund final wishes.

Kevin is the founder and president of A2Z Annuity Marketing. He is a 43 year veteran of the financial services industry. His experience includes that of an independent agent as well as stints at two of the largest insurance carriers in the country, serving at executive levels in both. His unique perspective of the industry is derived from serving at both ends of the spectrum - a home office executive and an independent agent - and gives him a greater understanding of the challenges of all parties in the insurance transaction. His reputation of professionalism and integrity are well known and respected.Kevin's training sessions on long-term healthcare planning are noteworthy. His practical application of this knowledge and his ability to transfer that knowledge into action have helped hundreds of independent agents build multi-million dollar businesses that cater to their communities. Romeo works to assist people in finding ways to finance their long term care. In addition, Romeo teaches courses for Kaplan Financial, NAIFA (National Association Insurance and Financial Advisors) both locally and at the state level, the FPA (Financial Planning Association), and the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Karl Dovnik Jr. JD
Karl maintains a law practice focusing on elder law and Medicaid planning. He is also on the staff of the national sales office at Delco Brokerage Services. Karl was instrumental in development of the Delco Brokerage Services funeral trust product with Unity Financial Life Insurance Company.
